This is Luke. He got fat in the offseason. So for him to get down into the shape for the Europa it took a lot of suffering. Lots of cardio, lots of weights, and lots of consistency on his diet.
His energy suffered, his mood suffered. He wasn’t very fun to be around.
My advice – don’t get this fat. Luke won’t get this fat again. The leaner you can enter into your contest prep (while maintaining a good caloric intake) the better off you will be, the easier the diet, and the better you will look on stage.
Luke is great at kicking his own ass, so he can really get into good shape.
